Seeking a Programme Management Officer(PMO) to support the delivery of innovation initiatives. The role provides collaborative and effective programme governance, coordination, and analytical support across a portfolio of exploratory and multi‑jurisdictional projects undertaken in collaboration with central banks and international partners.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Ability to operate in a dynamic and exploratory environment while maintaining high standards of governance and delivery discipline.
  • Support programme governance and oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, delivery standards, and risk management frameworks
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships, providing assessment and delivery oversight of workstream governance, procurement /commercial activity, technology assessment and delivery.
  • Ability to think creatively and connect the dots, assimilating often disparate or novel pieces of information into tangible delivery outcomes.
  • Attention to detail-create and maintain programme documentation, including plans, schedules, risk registers, financial management and reporting across multiple programme workstreams within the portfolio.
  • Ability to prepare clear and timely progress reports for senior management, advisory committees, oversight and engagement forums and decision making bodies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across Centres and external stakeholders
  • Ensure that project activities are conducted in a manner consistent with the company mandate to promote safe, efficient, and inclusive financial systems
  • Support the continuous enhancement of PMO processes, governance practices, and documentation standards


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required

  • Around 7+ years of professional experience in PMO, programme coordination, or project management
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex and evolving programmes at pace and in an agile fashion
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into meaningful outputs.
  • High level of proficiency in MS office applications, SharePoint, MS Teams.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with innovation and experimentation methodologies (e.g., agile delivery, design thinking)
  • Interest in emerging technologies and their implications for the financial system
  • Experience within a central bank, financial services, public sector, international organisation, regulator, or financial market infrastructure
  • Proficiency in PM tools such as Azure DevOps and/or MS Planner.

Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be persistent and think out of the box on a case by case basis.
