Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East of the UK.\n\nThis is a full lifecycle role, responsible for managing the project from procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n-End-to-end project management from procurement to completion\n-Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers\n-Programme, budget, and risk management\n-Interface management with OEMs, DNOs, and other stakeholders\n-Oversight of HSEQ, quality, and compliance requirements\n-Reporting on project progress, milestones, and issues\n-Ensuring successful commissioning and handover\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n-Proven BESS project management experience (essential)\n-Experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects\n-Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills\n\nDesirable Experience\n\n-Grid or transmission experience\n-Technical knowledge of 132kV systems\n-Experience working with Sungrow as the OEM\n\nersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
