Project Manager - Civils | Nuclear Energy

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the UK's nuclear energy sector. Working on technically challenging projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion

Define and implement project execution strategies aligned with agreed objectives

Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement and construction

Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with regulatory and company standards

Manage project schedules, budgets and risk management activities

Monitor performance using modern project controls and reporting tools

Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project teams

Prepare project documentation, reports and progress updates

Ensure compliance with safety cases, quality standards and CDM regulations

Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teams

Qualifications and Requirements

Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred

APMP or equivalent project management qualification

Strong experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments

Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning

Knowledge of safety cases, HSE legislation and compliance frameworks

Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams

Strong commercial awareness including cost control and planning

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability

Experience within power generation or nuclear sites beneficial
