Job Description

The client is a legacy consultancy based in central London looking to hire a Project Manager. Candidates may come from either an architectural background or a pure project-management background.

This opportunity carries significant responsibility, supporting senior leadership in project coordination, liaising with external design studios, consultants, and internal teams, and overseeing the day-to-day direction of multiple super-prime and prime residential projects. Typical construction values range from £1–£50 million. The role is pivotal in ensuring smooth project delivery while supporting the firms long-term growth and strategic objectives.

A key aspect of the position is balancing close daily liaison with UHNWIs with strong process, structure, administration, and project management.

This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams, guiding projects from pre-feasibility through design and delivery, and ensuring alignment with client expectations throughout.

This is an opportunity to step into a client-side project leadership role. It’s a move that takes architects away from the drawing board and into a more organisational, commercial, and facilitation-focused position.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage projects from initial client engagement through launch and day-to-day oversight.
  • Develop and analyse briefs for client and project needs as part of team assembly.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between the client (UHWNI & HWNI), design studios, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate diaries, briefings, and meetings between architects/designers and clients.
  • Prepare proposals, presentation documents, and reports alongside senior client leadership.
  • Log minutes and action points from client, partner, and project team meetings.
  • Conduct pre-purchase appraisals and provide strategic input on project feasibility.
  • Lead client-facing activities including presentations, pitching, and design discussions.
  • Assist in selecting and appointing world-class designers, consultants, and design partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ARB/RIBA qualified architect or extensive experience in architecture, project management, or client-side coordination for high-end residential projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and budgets while maintaining high standards of design quality and client satisfaction.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrable experience dealing with UHWNIs and HWNIs
  • Track record of managing projects in London and home counties
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on luxury residential projects.
  • Confident in client-facing roles, including presentations, meetings, and pitching.
