My client, a well known investment bank is looking for an experienced interim Project Manager who has front office banking experience, with a strong grasp of the derivatives space.


Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a range of derivative-related projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for derivative-related initiatives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, risk management, compliance, and IT, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience within the banking sector, with a focus on derivatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of derivative products, including options, futures, swaps, and structured products.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices in the derivatives market.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
