We have an opportunity in our Engineering Team for a Civil Engineer to support our multi-disciplinary portfolio of works in our Civils Asset Management (CAM), nationwide. Working closely with our clients, design consultants and delivery teams, you will play a key role in the coordination of Engineering Design activities for a wide range of projects. Your Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager (Design) you will be responsible for the coordination of permanent and temporary works design and the interface with the construction teams. Working on framework contracts for our client Network Rail and others, projects will include a wide variety of design and build projects. Working with our Engineering Team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of technical and engineering activities. Reviewing and approving design submissions, liaising with design consultants and our in-house delivery teams, and contributing to monthly meetings with our client's project team to progress design projects to a successful conclusion. A key function of the role will be reviewing sub-contract designer's deliverables to ensure designs fulfil the clients remit and comply with the standards and regulations applicable to the contract, considering constructability, third party interfaces and Safe by Design principles.
