Base pay range
We are working with a design-focused client who is looking to appoint a skilled Project Manager to lead on project delivery, team performance, and process optimisation. This is a key position with wide-ranging responsibility for overseeing multiple projects and supporting the business in its continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide project teams, ensuring objectives are met and clients are kept informed throughout.
- Act as the point of escalation for project challenges while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee financial performance across projects, including budgeting, profitability, and negotiating fee changes.
- Report regularly on team output, project milestones, and business targets, working alongside directors to influence strategy.
- Manage resource planning and allocation across teams, supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of project management tools.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and documentation, such as Gantt charts, risk registers, and contracts.
- Maintain high standards of communication internally and externally, mentoring teams on best practices.
- Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving project risks, contract issues, and staffing challenges.
- Contribute to the development of a positive studio culture and support the professional development of team members.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a project management role within architecture, interiors, engineering, or similar sectors. Min 4/5 years’ experience
- Strong understanding of design workflows, coordination processes, and project lifecycle management.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling complex deliverables.
- Confident in client communication, negotiation, and contract review.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g. Hive, Rapport3, or similar) and ideally experience supporting platform transitions or implementations.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and team leadership skills.
- Degree-qualified in architecture, engineering, design, or project management (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience working on international project and certifications like Prince2 or similar are a plus
- Along with, familiarity with design-led or creative studio environments and an interest in architecture, innovation, and sustainability
