HEOR Project Manager – Contract Opportunity - 12 months


We’re looking for an experienced HEOR Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real‑World Evidence (RWE) initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment and enjoys driving operational excellence across complex, cross‑functional projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end project management across multiple HEOR/RWE initiatives
  • Manage third‑party vendors, including onboarding, contracting, and invoicing
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, risks, and change controls across a diverse project portfolio
  • Partner closely with scientific teams, business units, procurement, and external collaborators
  • Support RFP development, proposal review, and portfolio planning
  • Ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and high‑quality project documentation
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance project workflows, reporting, and risk identification


What We’re Looking For

Project Management Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare
  • Experience managing complex portfolios and external vendors
  • HEOR/RWE project experience is preferred but not required

Technical & Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with HEOR study types (observational studies, SLRs, modeling, PROs)
  • Understanding of pharma planning cycles, procurement, and contracting
  • Knowledge of compliance and data privacy requirements is a plus

Core Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management across scientific and business teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and operational leadership
  • Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware, etc.)
  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, Fiori, Ariba) is a bonus

AI & Automation (New Requirement)

  • Experience using AI‑enabled tools for scheduling, reporting, or risk analytics
  • Familiarity with automation in PM workflows (invoicing, dashboards, milestone tracking)
  • Interest in championing emerging AI technologies within the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification
  • Experience in a matrixed pharmaceutical organization
  • Background supporting both strategy and operations
