Job Description
GVR Solutions are proud to be working with a reputable and expanding drylining contractor that delivers high-quality partitioning, ceilings, and interior fit-out solutions across a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to progress their career within a dynamic and specialist subcontracting environment.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring responsible and cost-effective delivery aligned with commercial objectives.
Provide clear leadership to Site Supervisors, fostering accountability and excellence.
Support the development of Site Supervisors to take ownership of daily activities and controls.
Represent the company professionally, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ensure all works are conducted in accordance with RAMS, PPE standards, and safety procedures.
Promote behavioural and cultural safety initiatives across all teams.
Review and monitor project programmes weekly, ensuring timely delivery.
Conduct weekly site briefings to align activities with programme goals.
Support Site Managers and Site Supervisors in maintaining accurate logs of materials, deliveries, and staff diaries.
Work closely with the procurement team to oversee procurement activities and support supplier negotiations.
Ensure timely updates to the programme and financial records following signed Instructions.
Ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements.
Oversee snagging processes and ensure areas are signed off by the Contractor.
Develop comprehensive project plans including risk management and technical sequencing.
Obtain necessary design approvals from clients and internal departments
The Project Manager must have/be:
Robust experience in construction project delivery
HND/Degree in Construction or Engineering
Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
Ability to lead and support site teams effectively
Knowledge of RAMS, programme sequencing and cost control
Cooperative, flexible and resilient under pressure
