Job Description

Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a leading producer of mechanical pipe joining and flow control solutions who are on the lookout for a Sales Engineer to cover the London and Southern Region.

The ideal candidate will be based in or around London and will have technical knowledge infrastructure and non infrastructure project management and work as part of a customer facing team.

What you will do

Promote the systems to the UK water industry, including water companies, designers, contractors, pipe fabricators, and distributors

Work with owners and engineering consultants to gain acceptance and incorporate company solutions in project specifications and drawings

Collaborate with contractors to integrate company systems in estimating processes, planning, and construction

Lead the development of proposals for alternate pipe build strategies

Increase awareness and knowledge of the company through technical seminars, customer training, and design support

Become a thought leader through participation in industry organizations and events

Visit job sites to support contractor training and product installation

Co-ordinate with sales colleagues in the territory

About you

Degree qualified, preferably as a civil, mechanical and/or piping engineer, or similar

Engineering or construction experience in the UK water market (minimum 5 years)

Familiarity with the mechanical piping business - or show ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills

Result-driven - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to challenges

Inherent drive to meet new people and build a network

Willing to travel as required.

Has strong communication skills and professional appearance.

Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary £60k-£80k (OTE £100k)
