Job Description

We’re partnered with a luxury global events and hospitality business hiring for a Finance IT Project Manager to sit at the centre of a major finance technology transformation programme.

Operating at the very top end of an international industry, this organisation manages complex, multi-jurisdictional operations where precision, compliance and commercial control are critical.

This is not a standard PM role. The successful candidate will help shape the financial technology backbone behind high value global activity.

The Opportunity

You will own financial technology projects end to end from scoping and planning through to deployment and optimisation. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will act as the key bridge between IT developers, finance leaders, operational stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading full lifecycle finance systems projects from initiation through to go live and beyond Creating, managing and tracking project budgets to ensure commercially disciplined delivery Identifying and mitigating technical and financial risks within regulated environments Overseeing UAT, data migration and system implementation with a focus on quality and control Translating complex technical requirements into clear, commercially relevant updates for senior leadership Driving engagement and adoption across established finance and operational teams

This role goes beyond system implementation. You will be building and refining the platforms that underpin a global operation.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years’ experience delivering Finance IT projects Strong exposure to ERP and accounting systems, Sage X3 advantageous Understanding of banking integrations and prepaid card solutions including Mastercard environments Proven track record delivering software development or IT infrastructure programmes Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance, manage budgets and assess financial impact Confident communicator able to translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders
