W Talent is recruiting two Project Managers for a large, well-established heavy engineering business based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Following continued investment and growth, the organisation is strengthening its project delivery capability by appointing two additional Project Managers.
Candidates with a background in Construction, Site Services, or Engineering project management will be considered for these positions. You'll work closely with Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance, and Despatch teams, and provide technical support to overseas Technical Advisors.
The Opportunity
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from sales handover through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Finance, Despatch, and overseas technical teams. This is a customer-facing, site-based role, suited to individuals with strong organisational and planning skills, a proactive approach, and experience delivering complex projects within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from sales handover through to completion
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and managing enquiries in line with the Customer Communication Plan
Maintain accurate project information, including milestones, cost tracking, and sales values
Proactively manage drawing approvals, variations, and the timely issue of invoices
Coordinate UK and overseas logistics in line with export procedures and agreed budgets
Work closely with the Asset Manager and subcontractors, ensuring RAMS are in place and equipment availability supports tank build schedules
Provide technical coordination and support to overseas Technical Advisors as required
Candidate Background
This opportunity would suit Project Managers seeking a long-term role within a stable, well-invested organisation operating in a safety-critical, engineering-led environment. You can be located anywhere in the UK but preference would be Rotherham, Doncaster , Leeds or Sheffield.
Candidates from Construction, Industrial, or Engineering Services backgrounds will all be considered.
Experience delivering projects within technically complex or heavy engineering environments would be advantageous.
Any prior experience with NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contracts would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
Package & Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary in the range of £45,000 to £60,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including: Profit-related bonus, Increasing annual leave entitlement, Ongoing training and development and Christmas shutdown period.
