Job Description
This is a transformational role that will drive the next of technology and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) for a company that is a global leader in advanced laser systems.
You will be based in a state-of-the-art facility with outstanding technical and manufacturing capabilities, where you can witness the product journey through every stage of development and production. This is an environment where you will see the direct impact of your work, influence key decisions, and contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge technology from concept through to customer.
You will take ownership of full lifecycle product development programmes, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to manufacturing release within a fast-paced, high-technology environment. Acting as the key contact for assigned programmes, you will provide structure, visibility, and leadership across cross-functional teams spanning product development, operations, and commercial functions.
You will lead NPI projects in line with strategic objectives, coordinate cross-functional planning and cost management, report progress against KPIs to senior management, manage project risks and mitigation plans, maintain comprehensive documentation and configuration control, and drive stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful implementation of deliverables.
This role requires a confident leader who can manage complexity and influence stakeholders at all levels. You must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, technically advanced environment and able to bring structure and clarity to challenging programmes. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight will be essential to success in this position.
Requirements:
STEM degree ()
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management
Experience delivering NPI within a high-tech, lean manufacturing environment
