Project Manager – Infrastructure & Network Transformation

I am currently working with a leading financial market in London that is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in infrastructure, network transformation, and large-scale IT delivery.

This is a high-impact role supporting major programmes across cloud, data centre, and enterprise network upgrades. You’ll work closely with executive stakeholders to drive end-to-end project execution, improve operational efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and network projects (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, UCC)
• Manage cloud migration, data centre transformation, and compliance-driven initiatives
• Drive PMO best practices, stakeholder governance, RAID management, and change delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cybersecurity, Architecture, Service, and SOC
• Support integration with enterprise systems including ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, and SAP
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure quality delivery across multiple geographies
• Report to senior stakeholders with structured updates, risk mitigation, and project assurance

Required Experience

• Proven experience in project or programme management within enterprise or regulated environments (ideally financial services)
• Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, data centres, and network technologies (e.g. SD-WAN, Zscaler, Firewalls)
• Experience in delivering global or multi-site transformation programmes (up to £50M+)
• Deep familiarity with governance frameworks, Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies
• Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders

Desirable Qualifications

• PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum certification
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certifications
