Overview

Interlinx is seeking an experienced Project Manager with essential London Underground (LU) experience to oversee and deliver a programme of facilities refurbishment works across the network. This role will focus on managing upgrades to passenger and staff facilities including toilets, welfare areas, and associated station amenities.

Candidates must have proven experience delivering projects within the London Underground environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of refurbishment and improvement projects across London Underground sites.

• Oversee works including toilet refurbishments, welfare upgrades, back-of-house areas, and general station facility improvements.

• Ensure all works are delivered in line with LU standards, procedures, and operational requirements.

• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, and resources.

• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.

• Plan and deliver works safely within live operational station environments.

• Carry out progress meetings, monitor site activity, and drive programme performance.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

• Produce regular reports and updates for senior management.

• Manage project close-out, handover, and final documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Must have strong, proven London Underground project delivery experience.

• Previous experience as a Project Manager on LU refurbishment, facilities, civils, M&E, or station improvement works.

• Strong understanding of LU processes, approvals, standards, and asset protection requirements.

• Experience managing works in live operational environments.

• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.

• Strong programme, commercial, and budget management ability.

• Good knowledge of H&S legislation and CDM regulations.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Desirable

• PRINCE2 / APM / PMP qualification.

• SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH.

• Experience working with TfL, principal contractors, or framework delivery partners.
