Project Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

As an SAP S/4HANA Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing complex, cross‑functional, international programs that drive real business value. You’ll work across departments and geographies to help shape EPSON’s digital future, enabling teams to embrace change and new ways of working through world‑class project execution.
You’ll support the entire project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to delivery and closure—ensuring alignment to business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and high‑quality outcomes.
What you will do:
You will manage assigned complex/multiple projects or programs and ensure that the agreed project objectives are realised on time, to high standards, and within the agreed budget. Lead interrelated strategic initiatives that contribute to a common business objective, ensuring alignment of deliverables, interdependencies, and stakeholder expectations across multiple project teams.
Project Initiation:
Set up the Project Organisation including the change management approachFacilitate value stream mapping (AS IS), and initial business requirements workshops aimed at creating detailed business requirements including financial impact and ROI, to be presented to the Project Board for approval
Project Planning:
Prepare and allocate the costs associated with the project for the sponsor’s approvalManage the vendor selection process, including contract negotiations for the selected vendorFacilitate Design workshops and finalize the scopeCreate a project plan in consultation with the relevant internal customersEnsure that the project team is engaged and allocated resources are available within the framework of the project plan to guarantee the realisation of the project objectivesAlign program scope and individual project charters to overarching business strategy and transformation objectives. Ensure cohesive delivery across workstreams
Project Delivery:
Realise the implementation of the project and the change management plansEnsure quality standards and the change management stream are realised and metSubmit regular reports and communications within the framework of the project plan and according to the PMO standards so that the project objectives and benefits approved by the Project Board are laid down in the Project Charter can be met. Provide oversight across project teams, enabling cross‑project collaboration, and removing blockers at the program level to ensure coordinated delivery
Project Closure:
Identify gaps and develop actions to sustain change management outcomesGuarantee the relevant knowledge and documentation (including Process Flows, SIPOC and Value Stream Mapping TO BE) transfer to the final internal or external stakeholdersEnsure successful closure, celebrate success, and make sure the lessons learned are documented, archived, and shared with the stakeholdersConduct program‑level retrospectives to capture cross‑project lessons learned and sustain enterprise‑wide improvements
What we ask for:
Involvement in S/4HANA assessment phases, including RFP and vendor selectionStrong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANAKnowledge of SAP Activate MethodologySolid understanding of project and change management (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)Experience managing complex, cross‑functional, international projectsProficient in tools like MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOpsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational, problem‑solving, and analytical abilitiesSelf‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a matrix environmentFluent in English (written and spoken); other languages a plusCustomer references will be required during the recruitment process
