Job Description
PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Salary : Up to £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Location : London
Working Type : Studio based, full-time
Types of Projects : Hospitality and F&B fit-out, commercial kitchen environments, high-footfall interior spaces, multi-site rollouts
About the Consultancy
Our client is an established project management consultancy based in London, working across the hospitality and F&B sectors. They deliver technically complex fit-out projects for well-known brands, balancing commercial rigour with design intent and strong operational outcomes. It's a growing business with a clear sense of how it works and what it values, and the team is expanding to meet increasing demand.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a solid background in construction-led interior fit-out. The focus is firmly on built environment delivery, covering the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to handover, across hospitality and F&B environments that often include commercial kitchens, front-of-house spaces, and high-footfall customer areas.
You'd be trusted to run multiple live projects simultaneously, managing consultants and contractors while acting as the primary client contact throughout. Candidates with drive-thru experience or multi-site rollout backgrounds will be of particular interest.
At Senior PM level, the role carries additional responsibility for strategic decision-making, mentoring junior team members, and leading more complex or higher-value projects.
This role is specifically focused on construction and fit-out delivery. It isn't suited to Project Managers whose background sits primarily in infrastructure, IT, digital transformation, events, or non-built environment programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the full project lifecycle from feasibility, design coordination, and planning through to delivery and handover
Running feasibility studies, risk assessments, and top-line cost estimates
Managing project budgets, cost approvals, and value engineering while protecting build quality
Overseeing programming, schedules, and milestones across multiple concurrent projects
Leading tender processes and contractor procurement to ensure best value and capability
Coordinating consultants across design, M&E, and specialist disciplines
Maintaining strong control of health and safety, statutory compliance, and CDM obligations
Producing clear, accurate reporting and client updates throughout the project lifecycle
Building and maintaining long-term, trusted client relationships
Requirements and Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or interior fit-out, ideally in hospitality or F&B
Background from a consultancy or construction environment, rather than infrastructure, technology, design, or events
Strong understanding of commercial kitchen environments, including HVAC, M&E coordination, and operational requirements
Experience delivering high-quality fit-outs across hospitality, retail, leisure, or F&B
Confident managing contractors, consultants, and client-side stakeholders
Commercially astute, with solid cost control and value engineering experience
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and construction compliance
Organised and proactive, comfortable running projects with a degree of autonomy
CSCS and SMSTS desirable
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
The right to work in the UK is required for this role.
