Project Manager / Site Manager – EV Infrastructure (ICP)

Location: South England (site-based with travel)

Overview

A rapidly growing EV Charge Point Operator (CPO) is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to oversee the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across Southern England.

The role will manage projects from pre-construction through installation and commissioning, working closely with design teams, ICP partners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

This role is ideal for someone with experience delivering electrical infrastructure, EV charging, utilities, or ICP projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects
• Oversee projects from design handover through construction and commissioning
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and grid connection teams

Site Management

• Manage contractors and installation teams on site
• Oversee civil works, electrical installation, and infrastructure build
• Conduct site inspections and progress reporting
• Ensure health & safety compliance across all sites

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with:
• ICP contractors
• Electrical installers
• Civil contractors
• Site hosts and landlords
• Internal project and design teams
• Act as the key point of contact during the construction phase

Planning & Reporting

• Track project schedules and milestones
• Manage site documentation and reporting
• Identify and resolve delivery risks
• Ensure projects meet quality and regulatory standards

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Experience delivering infrastructure, utilities, or electrical projects
• Experience managing contractors and site teams
• Strong understanding of construction and installation processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience delivering EV charging infrastructure
• Experience working with ICP or DNO grid connection projects
• Understanding of LV/HV electrical infrastructure
• Experience managing civil and electrical works

• Upto £65,000 + Bonus + Company Car
