Job Description

Teamwork Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a new warehouse operation for a major retail/eCommerce client.\n\nThis is a high-impact role where you will take an empty facility through to full operational go-live, managing all aspects of delivery including people, process, systems, and site infrastructure.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Project Delivery\n\nLead full project lifecycle from planning through to go-live and handover\n\nDefine scope, milestones, timelines, budget, and governance\n\nEnsure delivery is on time, within budget, and to scope\n\n ️ Warehouse Implementation\n\nOversee full warehouse setup including layout, racking, MHE, and safety systems\n\nCoordinate site readiness and operational setup\n\n⚙️ Systems & Technology\n\nLead implementation and integration of:\n\nWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)\n\nOrder Management Systems (OMS)\n\nERP and automation technologies\n\nManage testing, cutover, and go-live activities\n\n Operational Design\n\n * Develop and implement processes for:\n\n * Inbound & receiving\n\n * Inventory management\n\n * Picking & packing\n\n * Dispatch & returns\n\n Stakeholder Management\n\nAct as key point of contact for clients and internal teams\n\nManage cross-functional stakeholders including operations, IT, and suppliers\n\n Resource & Team Management\n\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse staff\n\nManage third-party suppliers, contractors, and internal teams\n\n⚠️ Risk & Compliance\n\nIdentify and mitigate project risks\n\nEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards\n\nEstablish KPIs and operational controls\n\n Key Requirements\n\nProven experience delivering warehouse or logistics implementation projects\n\nStrong understanding of eCommerce fulfilment and distribution operations\n\nExperience with WMS, OMS, ERP systems and automation solutions\n\nTrack record of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders\n\nStrong project planning, governance, and reporting skills\n\nExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities\n\n Desirable\n\nExperience in warehouse start-ups, site launches, or major transformations\n\nBackground in retail, eCommerce, 3PL, or FMCG environments\n\nProject Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, APM)\n\n What We’re Looking For\n\nA delivery-focused Project Manager with strong leadership skills\n\nAbility to balance strategic oversight with operational detail\n\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment\n\nProven ability to drive projects through to successful go-live\n\n Why Apply?\n\nOpportunity to lead a large-scale warehouse implementation project\n\nWork with a leading retail/eCommerce client\n\nBe part of a dynamic and growing logistics environment\n\nCompetitive salary and career progression opportunities
