Project Manager | Water (MEICA or Civils Bias) | Thames Water Region | West London\n\n£70,000 – £85,000 + Excellent Holiday Package\nFreelance Options Available (Outside IR35)\n\nIf you’re a Project Manager who wants long-term work, genuine responsibility, and proper recognition — this is one to look at.\n\nThis specialist water contractor has secured a major stretch of AMP8 work across the Thames Water region and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of several clean and wastewater projects.\n\nThey’re open to candidates from both MEICA and Civils backgrounds, as long as you’ve got the drive to lead projects from pre-construction through to completion. You’ll be part of a team that values leadership, accountability, and straightforward communication — not layers of red tape.\n\n The Role\n\nYou’ll manage multiple projects across the region, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. You’ll also contribute to pre-construction planning, design reviews, and stakeholder coordination.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n• Oversee full project lifecycle from design to handover\n• Manage commercial performance, risk, and change\n• Coordinate MEICA, civils, and subcontractor interfaces\n• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance\n• Lead planning and scheduling with internal teams and planners\n• Build strong client relationships with Thames Water and partners\n• Mentor and develop site and project teams\n\n What You’ll Need\n\n• Proven experience managing water sector projects\n• MEICA or Civils engineering background\n• Strong technical and commercial understanding\n• SMSTS or CSCS (or willing to obtain)\n• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK\n\n What’s on Offer\n\n• £70,000 – £85,000 + Excellent Holiday Package\n• Freelance options available – Outside IR35\n• Long-term AMP8 programme with secure workload\n• Opportunities for career progression and autonomy\n\n Interested?\n\nIf you’re a MEICA or Civils Project Manager looking for a secure role with real scope for growth, contact Steve Gearing at GRS for a confidential discussion
