Established regional civil engineering contractor requires a Project Manager to run an up-and-coming scheme, project value is circa £18-£20m and will be delivered within 12 months.

Leading a team of Site Managers, Engineers and Foreman this role requires a key focus on project over view, therefore, suitable candidates are required to have proven programming and planning skills, be good with clients and have strong commercial acumen

Working with a bespoke form of contract based on the principle of the NEC, the main scope of the project involves the installation of new multi use hard surface pavement, drainage works and associated civils and ground works.

Key Duties:

* Lead all engagement with the client and designers

* Ensure the project is meeting overall quality and environmental specifications

* Project Programming

* Line management of operational team, comprising of Agents, Foreman, Engineer and Quantity Surveyors

* Lead the commercial team to manage risk, profitability, cashflow as well as any change in the scope or programme.

* Overall responsibility to ensure CDM is applied in line with legislation
