Role overview:

  • The Project Manager is a key on-site full-time role. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of an approved packages of work using the NEC4 form of contract as directed by the Senior Project Manager.
  • In addition to NEC contract management, the Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring operational capabilities achieved, such as but not limited to, assurance and consent of the various aspects associated with successful delivery of the project, risk management and mitigation, quality assurance along with providing advice to the intelligent customer as and when required.


Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is accountable for overall performance of assigned work packages, including:

  • Delivery of assigned packages of work as per the NEC3 ECC contract conditions.
  • Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages.
  • Risk management.


Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Effective at managing conflict and reporting to stakeholders.
  • UK National with valid SC clearance.
  • Engineering design and construction experience.
  • NEC4 ECC experience and Accredited Project Manager status.
  • SMSTS and CSCS certified.
  • Experience managing projects in highly regulated environments.
  • Full project lifecycle experience (business case to handover).
  • Experience in change control, assurance, compliance, and risk management.
  • HND in a relevant discipline.

Desirable:

  • APM Registered Project Professional (RPP).
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Chartered status.
  • CEMAR experience.
