Project Manager – Construction / FM Projects Manchester Up to £450 per day (CIS)

We’re working with a major UK engineering and facilities services provider that delivers construction, refurbishment and infrastructure upgrades across healthcare, public sector and commercial estates. Their teams manage projects from early design through to delivery and handover, supporting long-term building performance and operational efficiency.

They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of site-based projects.

The Role

You will take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget and quality targets while coordinating internal teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Full project ownership including commercial and programme performance

*

Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget

*

Coordinate site teams, consultants and subcontractors

*

Manage procurement, subcontract packages and tender evaluations

*

Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S standards

*

Prepare and review RAMS and risk assessments

*

Monitor progress, costs and project risks with regular reporting

*

Maintain quality assurance and contractual documentation

*

Support client relationships and ongoing project pipeline

Requirements

*

Proven experience delivering construction or FM projects

*

Previously managed projects in a live healthcare environment

*

Knowledge of PFI's

*

Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and contract management

*

Commercial awareness and budget control experience

*

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and supply chains

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Additional Information

Site-based role in Manchester

*

Some travel may be required depending on project needs

Participation in out-of-hours management rota when required
