PROJECT MANAGER\n\nOur client, a successful and reputable building contractor, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high-rise residential development in the heart of Manchester.\n\nThis is a pivotal role, ideal for a construction professional with a strong track record in delivering multi-storey residential or mixed-use schemes from inception to completion.\n\nYou will work with a reputable developer/main contractor on a landmark project, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, programme, and cost control are maintained throughout.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage the full lifecycle of the high-rise residential project from pre-construction through to handover.\n\n * Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary project teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.\n\n * Ensure compliance with health and safety, planning regulations, and contractual obligations.\n\n * Track project progress against key milestones and manage risk mitigation strategies.\n\n * Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.\n\n * Manage budgets, procurement schedules, and change control processes.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use schemes (£20M+ value).\n\n * Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager role.\n\n * Strong understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety legislation.\n\n * Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\n * Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\n\n * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications ().\n\nOn Offer:\n\n * Opportunity to work on a landmark Manchester development.\n\n * Competitive salary + car allowance + bonus + pension + healthcare.\n\n * Supportive, forward-thinking work environment.\n\n * Career development and progression within a growing organisation
