About the Opportunity:

NRL is excited to be recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a key role with one of our prestigious clients. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring successful execution within defined goals, timelines, and budgets, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with the client’s Project Portfolio Manager (PPM) to develop and execute project strategies, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Manage and oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of nuclear projects.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the client and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and project activities.
  • Occasionally travel to other UK sites to support project delivery and collaborate with stakeholders.


What You’ll Need:

  • A degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., APMP)
  • Extensive experience managing projects through all phases, ideally within complex, regulated environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies, including experience with engineering, design, procurement, safety, and construction management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and Earned Value techniques.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to foster relationships and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects within high safety and regulatory standards.
  • Has the ability to gain security clearance.
