Project Operations Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery. This role combines office-based project coordination with hands-on site responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate site operations, inspections, and commissioning activities.

*

Manage subcontractors, resources, and equipment delivery.

*

Interpret and communicate mechanical and electrical drawings.

*

Prepare and maintain site documentation including RAMS and inspection records.

*

Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.

*

Monitor project schedules, progress, and status reporting.

*

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.

Skills & Experience:

*

Proven project engineering or site management experience.

*

Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

*

Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

*

Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, fabrication, and commissioning.

*

Excellent communication, teamwork, and client management skills.

*

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and project schedules.

Desirable:

*

Offshore, industrial, or renewable energy project experience.

*

Familiarity with ATEX, LOLER, PUWER, or CDM compliance.

*

Hands-on installation, commissioning, or validation experience
