Job Description Planning Engineer – Birmingham Permanent | Full-Time | Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Are you a Planning Engineer looking to make an impact on major construction projects? We’re seeking a motivated professional to join a dynamic consultancy team delivering exceptional planning and project management services across the UK and Europe.
What You’ll Do:
\n Develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6 \n
\n
Interpret NEC contract requirements and integrate them into planning processes
\n
Produce clear programme narratives for reporting and contractual use
\n
Conduct delay analysis and support dispute resolution
\n
Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
\n
Provide planning input throughout the project lifecycle
\n
What We’re Looking For:
\n Proven experience in construction planning
\n
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
\n
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
\n
Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
\n
Ability to interpret construction drawings and methodologies
\n
UK driving licence and willingness to commute to Birmingham
\n
Desirable Skills:
Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, Synchro 4D
