Project Planner

There is a new contract Project Planner role which we need to hire for, can you confirm if able to support please?

6 months initial with potential for extensions.

£300 to £350 per day + Holiday PAYE or £410 to £500 per day Umbrella.

Based 2 days on site, hybrid working from home rest of week so please can you keep people ideally within an hour commute, 1.5 hours maximum as long as they have done that type of commute before and okay with it.

No specification to pass on for this one, we need someone who can:

• collate plans and create a master project plan for our large programmes of work. None exists currently in one master plan. We use a bespoke tool, but if people are familiar with MS Project or Primavera and happy to learn our tool that works well.
• Ideally someone who has done similar previously and come into a company to support generating these large scale plans and integrating them with other PMO processes.
• I'd expect roughly 10 years' experience of general project work and at least 3 years working as a dedicated planning specialist.
• Ideally, they should be familiar with a similar type of project planning i.e. manufacturing, engineering, construction, R&D, Aerospace etc. If they have only planned for say finance or banking projects that may not work well, hope this makes sense.
• Experience of large and complex projects i.e. multiple projects at least 10 – 30 million each
• Good communication skills
