Job Description

Our client is one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working nationwide on iconic projects and frameworks.\n\nDue to continual growth and successfully winning a number of new frameworks and projects, our client is looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor from an infrastructure background, with rail framework experience an advantage.\n\nAs the successful candidate, you will be crucial in the support of a £50+ million package of work over the next few years in the South East.\n\nProject Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:\n\nYou will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.\n\nYou will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.\nHave ownership and responsibility for contract administration for your own projects through to Final Accounts.\nSet and manage budgets ensuring all costs are correctly allocated.\nProvide procurement support to ensure each project is delivered safely, timely, at the least cost and to optimal quality.\nPreparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities, CVR's, subcontract accounts and invoicing.Project Quantity Surveyor requirements:\n\nDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or construction related qualification with relevant experience.\nQuantity Survey experience within civil engineering environment, working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.\nNEC Contracts experience is essential.\nExperience working on a Network Rail Framework is advantageous.\nExperience interfacing and working collaboratively with project, engineering teams, finance and procurement teams.\nConversant with different types of Estimating Software and generally strong IT Skills.Project Quantity Surveyor Benefits:\n\nHybrid role between office and WfH.\nWork for a leading Main Contractor within the UK infrastructure market.\nExcellent support and opportunity to progress your career will be provided.\nA competitive rewards package, including a Company Car scheme, Private Healthcare, Pension, and Life Assurance cover.\nImmediate role. \n\nIf you are interested in this Project Quantity Surveyor role, apply now
