Known for their commitment to safety, quality, and efficient project delivery, they have built long-standing partnerships within the housing sector.\n\nThey are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of multiple residential developments, following a period of success and growth.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAn opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor with experience in Residential Groundworks to join a reputable and growing contractor. The successful candidate will oversee all commercial and financial aspects of groundworks projects, ensuring profitability, compliance, and efficiency from tender to final account.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.\nConduct take-offs and prepare accurate tender submissions.\nPrepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts with clients.\nMonitor and report on project costs, forecasts, and cash flow.\nLiaise closely with site management teams and clients to resolve commercial queries.\nEnsure all documentation and records are maintained in line with company standards.\nSupport commercial reporting and contribute to monthly financial reviews.\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks or residential civil engineering sector.\nStrong commercial acumen and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nRelevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary - Up to £65,000 p.a\nCompany car or car allowance.\nPension scheme and other benefits
