A leading construction consultancy is seeking a commercially focused Project Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major Energy and Utilities infrastructure scheme in London.
This Project Quantity Surveyor role will see you providing professional quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients and technical teams. The Project Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for cost planning, procurement and post-contract quantity surveying on complex infrastructure works.
This Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity offers exposure to regulated utilities projects and the chance to strengthen your commercial management experience within a client-facing quantity surveying environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor looking to develop within a major infrastructure scheme, gaining exposure to complex, high-value works. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring commercial success across the project lifecycle.

The Role As the Project Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside project managers, engineers and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
The role will include: Preparing detailed cost plans, budgets and feasibility estimates Managing tender documentation, bills of quantities and procurement processes Advising on procurement routes and contract strategies Undertaking valuations, change control and cost reporting Managing variations, claims and final accounts Identifying commercial and contractual risks and advising on mitigation strategies
The Project Quantity Surveyor? You will be commercially aware, organised and confident operating in a client-facing infrastructure environment.
The Project Quantity Surveyor must have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Strong knowledge of NEC contracts Experience within infrastructure, utilities or transport projects Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word and CostX Clear communication and stakeholder management skills Ideally chartered or working towards RICS
