The Opportunity

A leading contractor/developer is seeking an experienced Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a £50m new build commercial development in London. This is a high-profile project offering the opportunity to work within a well-structured, high-performing team on a complex scheme.

The employer offers flexibility, including 1–2 days per week working from home, and the role provides strong long-term prospects with potential involvement across future projects.

Key Responsibilities

Managing procurement and coordination of subcontract packages

Overseeing post-contract duties, including cost control, commercial reporting, and subcontractor management

Supporting the project through the full life cycle, from pre-construction to final account

Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery

Requirements

Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with 4–10+ years’ experience working for a main contractor, developer, or subcontractor

Strong understanding of procurement and full project life cycle management

Previous experience delivering large-scale new build schemes

Excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and good organisational ability
