Venn Group is working with a well-regarded and busy London local authority in their search for a Property Litigation Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 6 month role.
About the Role
This role involves working as a Property Litigation Lawyer (with Debt Recovery and Civil Litigation) on a locum basis.
Responsibilities
Handling a caseload of property litigation matters Managing debt recovery proceedings on behalf of the council Advising on and progressing a range of general civil litigation cases Assisting in reducing a significant backlog of files Supporting the in-house legal team with ad-hoc litigation matters
Qualifications
Solid background in property litigation, ideally within the public sector Experience with debt recovery litigation processes Competence in managing general civil claims in the County Court Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working remotely and managing a flexible caseload
