We are delighted to be partnering with a Top 500 UK law firm to recruit an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded dispute resolution team.
This leading regional practice has built an outstanding reputation for excellence, technical expertise, and long-standing client relationships. With multiple offices across Essex and a growing presence in Canary Wharf, the firm delivers high-quality legal services to both private and commercial clients. Backed by an ambitious long-term growth strategy through to 2030, this is an exciting time to join a forward-thinking and progressive organisation.
The Team
The Property Litigation department is recognised by The Legal 500 as one of the leading property dispute resolution teams in the region. The team advises on a broad range of residential and commercial property matters and is known for its technical strength, pragmatic approach, and consistent results.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative, high-performing team while maintaining autonomy over your own caseload. The successful candidate will manage a varied and quality-driven workload including:
- Right to manage and enfranchisement matters (particularly large residential blocks)
- Boundary disputes
- Lease extensions
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Adverse possession claims
- Dilapidations
- Break notices
You will be confident running files with appropriate supervision and comfortable engaging directly with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
Beyond casework, the firm is keen to appoint someone who enjoys contributing to business development initiatives, networking, and strengthening existing client relationships. Strong communication skills and commercial awareness are essential.
The Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience in property litigation (3PQE +)
- Strong technical knowledge across residential and commercial disputes
- Ability to manage and progress cases independently
- A client-first, solution-focused mindset
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
The Package
In return, the firm offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to reward performance and support long-term career growth:
Reward & Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Quarterly bonus (department performance related)
- Hybrid working (home and office flexibility)
- Free parking
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
- Birthday leave
- Compassionate leave
- Contributory pension (3–4%)
- Death in service (2–4x salary depending on level)
- Private health insurance (with option to add dependants)
- Mentoring programme
- Financial and time support for further qualifications
- Clear career progression framework
- Discounted legal and financial advisory services
- Eye care contributions
- Social events throughout the year
- Home IT set-up
- iPhone for personal and business use
- 3-year executive health check (Senior Associate and above)
This is a standout opportunity to join a respected, results-driven firm that genuinely invests in its people. If you are an ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor looking to take the next step within a recognised Top 500 practice, we would be pleased to discuss this opportunity in confidence.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.
If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained. LAW Absolute acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
