Role Overview:

• Location: Hybrid (UK-wide with occasional travel)
• Package: £55,000 – £65,000 + bonus + private healthcare + every other Friday off
• Industry: Defence, Security, Aerospace

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the end-to-end proposal process for major UK defence and security bids.
• Managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Defining proposal structures and coordinating expert input to build high-quality submissions.
• Ensuring proposals are compliant, compelling, and commercially sharp.
• Driving continuous improvement using lessons learned and market best practice.
• Engaging with partners and suppliers to align contributions with bid strategy.
• Reporting on progress to senior stakeholders, with clarity and confidence.

Main Skills Needed:

• Solid experience managing bids within formal tender frameworks (e.g. Award, Bravo).
• Strong understanding of proposal compliance, structure, and strategic messaging.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, high-stakes bid environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — written and verbal.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Confident with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Project.
