PRU Teacher | Bromley | September Start
Are you an experienced teacher looking to work in a specialist setting from September?
A Pupil Referral Unit in Bromley is seeking a dedicated PRU Teacher to support pupils who require an alternative to mainstream education. This role would suit a teacher with strong behaviour management skills who is committed to helping young people re-engage with learning.
You will be teaching small groups of pupils, adapting lessons to meet individual needs and supporting students with a range of social, emotional and behavioural challenges. The setting has a supportive team and a clear focus on building positive relationships and improving outcomes.
PRU Teacher Key Responsibilities:
Teach small groups of pupils across KS3KS4
Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural challenges
Build strong relationships and encourage engagement with learning
Work closely with support staff and external professionals
Person Specification:
QTS and teaching experience in secondary or alternative provision
Strong behaviour management and resilience
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Patient, calm and adaptable approach to teaching
