Behaviour Specialist – Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) We are seeking an experienced and passionate Behaviour Specialist to lead and embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) within a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and associated needs. This is a specialist, non-rotational role, focused on improving quality of life through proactive, data-driven behavioural support. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure best practice, reduce restrictive interventions, and promote person-centred outcomes. About the Role As Behaviour Specialist, you will act as the lead practitioner for PBS, ensuring behavioural support is:
Proactive and evidence-based Focused on independence and quality of life Embedded into everyday practice across the serviceYou will collaborate with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and wider multidisciplinary team to drive a strong, capable, and reflective care environment. Key Responsibilities Functional Assessment & Analysis
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) Analyse ABC data and behavioural trends Identify triggers, maintaining factors, and skill deficits Develop hypothesis-driven PBS strategiesPBS Planning & Review
