HGV / Bus Engineer
Shift Pattern: Late, 2pm- 10pm and everyother Saturday as overtime
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV / Bus Engineer to join a well-established engineering team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of buses and coaches, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
*
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and repair mechanical/electrical systems
*
Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing
*
Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out effective repairs
*
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Bus Mechanic / PSV Engineer
*
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
*
IRTEC accreditation (desirable)
*
Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
*
Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence advantageous)
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
