The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) leads the development, planning and deliver of comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in South East Queensland.

Psychologists are members of the Social Health team (comprised of care coordinators, support workers, counsellors) that are embedded within a Primary Health Care Clinic that provides a comprehensive range of primary and specialist care services, including but not limited to GP, Allied Health, Psychiatry, Family Wellbeing, NDIS services and assessments, Maternity and Paediatric services. Psychologists work actively with these other disciplines to ensure that the needs of clients are met in a truly holistic way.

About the Role?

We are looking for a passionate part-time or full-timePsychologist to join our Social Health team. The successful applicant will provide culturally appropriate clinical care and support to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, parents and families. This role is focused on culturally appropriate, family-centred assessment and therapeutic care, and will include flexible service delivery during COVID-19.
