About Us

We are an ambitious and inclusive secondary school for boys (with a mixed Sixth Form) in the heart of Wandsworth. We are committed to high academic standards, strong pastoral care, and ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their full potential.

Due to increasing uptake at Sixth Form, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Psychology to join our team for an immediate start.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach Psychology at Key Stage 5 (A Level)

Deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that develop critical thinking and analytical skills

Prepare students for examination success with strong subject expertise

Track and monitor student progress, providing targeted intervention where needed

Contribute to enrichment opportunities and the wider Sixth Form experience

There may be opportunities to contribute to related subjects within Social Sciences, depending on experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Psychology or a closely related field

Experience teaching A Level Psychology (desirable but not essential)

Strong knowledge of contemporary psychological theories and research methods

High expectations of student achievement and behaviour

A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and strong ECTs with the ability to teach at A Level.
