Job Title: Psychotherapist Location: Orchard Manor School – Norfolk PE34 3HT Salary: up to £53,000 FTE DOE Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days a week, days to be confirmed Contract: Permanent – Term Time only About the role We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Orchard Manor School. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents. Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP Integrative therapist, CBT informed Not newly qualified, more than 2 years’ experience Specialist education setting experience/working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent – preferred. Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs) Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting What’s in it for you?
