An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a highly regarded, specialist Public Law team recognised for its work across education, health, social care, and human rights.


This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy working together to make a difference. Hybrid working is available, with a focus on remote first and occasional office attendance required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist fee earners with their caseloads within the Public Law & Human Rights team.
  • Draft correspondence and prepare court documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise summaries.
  • Liaise with clients, case managers, and other professionals.
  • Support new client enquiries and maintain accurate internal records.
  • Manage calls and casework efficiently, ensuring excellent client service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and relevant legal developments.
  • Assist with billing and general administrative support.


Experience & Attributes Required:

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Previous relevant work experience in Public Law and Human Rights.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritise, manage workloads, and work to deadlines.
  • Highly organised with strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Friendly, professional, and empathetic manner when dealing with clients from all backgrounds.
  • Able to articulate a genuine interest or experience in Public Law & Human Rights.
