About 42 Bruton

42 Bruton is a high-growth boutique PR agency based in London. We specialise in leading PR strategies for ambitious scale-ups and challenger brands across the UK and the US. Our reputation is built on clean-cut execution, relentless media coverage, sharp industry positioning, and storytelling that drives investor and audience engagement alike. The Agency – now in its eighth year – is based out of our beautiful private office amidst the creative backdrop of SohoWorks, West London.

The Role

We’re seeking a confident, proactive, and media-savvy Account Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of PR and digital campaigns. You will bring enthusiasm for media relations, strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for storytelling – paired with the ability to contribute across both traditional and digital channels.

Working closely with Account Managers and Senior Account Executives, you’ll help shape and implement comms strategies for clients in lifestyle, FMCG, travel, and tech. Alongside press outreach and content creation, you’ll contribute to digital PR activity that improves search visibility, earns authoritative backlinks, and drives measurable online engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced agency with hands-on learning and development.

Key Skills

  • Strong interest in PR, media, and communications with a solid understanding of how media works.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Some experience in drafting media materials and client-ready content.
  • Organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple deadlines at once.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic team environment.
  • Awareness of SEO principles and digital engagement trends is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting account teams in day-to-day client communications.
  • Assisting in the delivery of PR campaigns, from research and media lists to coverage tracking and reporting.
  • Drafting press releases, content for media and owned channels, and supporting digital PR initiatives.
  • Conducting research to inform client strategies and identifying relevant media opportunities.
  • Supporting media outreach and journalist engagement across national and trade publications.
  • Helping to prepare meeting agendas, client reports, and presentation materials.

Additional Requirements

  • The start date for this role is January 2026.
  • Occasional travel between London and NY may be required.

This role offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and ambitious agency environment. If you’re excited to gain hands-on PR experience, build media relationships, and contribute to high-impact campaigns – while working with a supportive, tight-knit team – we’d love to hear from you.
