Purchase Ledger Assistant

Salary: £30-32k depending on experience

Location: Hackney Wick

Hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. This role will be full time office based

We're seeking a proactive and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client's team-an ambitious, fast‑growing organisation within the construction sector. What You'll Do:

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring their financial processes run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Accurately manage the entry and processing of supplier invoices to maintain up-to-date records. Supplier Account Payment Processing: Execute weekly and monthly payment runs efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Handling Queries Assist with month-end processes Process employee expenses and carry out reconciliations to maintain accurate financial data. Other Duties as Required: Support the finance team with various tasks as needed,

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Experience using Sage 50 is beneficial Previous experience within a similar role is beneficial A keen eye for detail and accuracy in your work. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills A proactive attitude towards problem
