As the Purchasing Assistant you will be responsible for:

Purchasing and ordering of packaging, raw materials, and management of consumable stocks Managing supplier invoice queries Processing order acknowledgements, delivery notes, and purchase orders Preparing and managing export documentation Arranging the handling and delivery of raw materials Producing reports as required Assisting with stock control, including stock takes and reconciliation Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers Maintaining and updating the approved supplier list Booking in and out raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within purchasing or supply chain Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Demonstrated ability to initiate and drive change and improvements to deliver results Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to supp...
