Quality Assurance Officer Birkenhead Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-12:30pm Permanent, Full-Time

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business in Birkenhead, looking to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to lead their QA function. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining high quality standards across the site. Previous people-management experience is essential.

The Role:

Oversee compliance with quality standards across manufacturing operations Conduct audits, manage CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Support production, engineering, and supply chain teams in resolving quality issues Lead QA documentation, inspection protocols, and internal training on quality standards Collaborate with QC and support raw material inspections and supplier quality assessments Promote a proactive approach to in-line process control within production

What We're Looking For:

Strong background in Quality Assurance, ideally in a manufacturing setting Previous team leadership or people management experience is essential Familiarity with CAPA, audits, and regulatory requirements (ISO, GMP etc.) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of QC processes...
