Choice Teachers is seeking an experienced and committed QTS Psychology Teacher to teach KS5 Psychology (A Level only) at a well‑established academy located in Rainham, South‑East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who specialises in post‑16 teaching and is looking for a new role from September.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality A Level Psychology lessons, planning engaging content, and ensuring strong student progress throughout the academic year. You will work exclusively with KS5 students, contributing to the department’s continued success and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. This is a full‑time teaching role within a supportive academy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teach A Level Psychology to KS5 students Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements Assess, track, and report on student progress Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to departmental planning and development Engage and motivate learners to achieve their full potential
What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Specialism or strong background in Psychology Experience teaching KS5/A Level Psychology Strong classroom and behaviour management Ability to inspire and motivate post‑16 learners Strong organisational and communication skills
