About the Role

We are an education recruitment agency working with a number of secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to fill a range of permanent and long-term positions.

We are recruiting teachers across all subject specialisms, offering a variety of opportunities to suit different experience levels, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. The Role

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that inspire, engage, and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable). You will work collaboratively with school teams to create inclusive learning environments and uphold high standards of teaching and behaviour.

Roles vary depending on the school and subject specialism but all offer the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student progress and school success.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support consistent teaching standards.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching secondary-aged students (all subject areas considered).
UK education experience.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A flexible, professional approach to working across different school settings.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
