Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Edinburgh City Council's Adult's Service. This is a full time role offering a fantastic competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments under the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 to identify eligibility for services.
• Investigating concerns and carrying out duties under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Designing and implementing care packages, which may include home care, equipment/adaptations, or residential placement.
• Undertaking risk assessments for individuals with complex needs, challenging behaviors, or significant frailty.
• Managing the four options of SDS, allowing individuals to choose how their care budget is spent (e.g., hiring a Personal Assistant vs. using Council services).
• Collaborating with GPs, District Nurses, and Occupational Therapists to provide integrated health and social care.

Requirements:

• PVG
• SSSC registration
• Social Work Degree
