Qualified Solicitor – Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor with at least 2 years’ qualifying experience to join our team at our Holyhead office, specialising in Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring smooth property transfers for our clients. The successful candidate will have the skills to handle complex commercial conveyancing matters while also supporting the firm with private client work where required.
*Duties*
* Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Handling commercial property matters such as leases, acquisitions, disposals, and portfolio management
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to property transactions
* Providing clear and concise legal advice to clients regarding property law and related processes
* Handling aspects of private client work, including wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney where appropriate.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
* Managing deadlines effectively to ensure timely completion of all cases
* Maintaining accurate case records using IT systems and case management software
*Experience*
* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ qualifying experience
* Experience in Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property
* Some experience or exposure to private client work (wills, probate, LPAs)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
